Dalí Museum of Figueres and Girona city

On this full day tour we want to help you to discover two of the most emblematic places of the Girona Province. The legacy of the Surrealist painter Salvador Dalí at his home town Figueres and the most  important and impressive city at all levels (historical, economic and commercial) of the province, its capital, Girona.

The tour departs from Girona City and we will move to Figueres (45 minutes) to enjoy a guided visit to the Dalí Theatre-Museum. The start time will depend on the schedules of the Dalí Museum, which vary several times a year.

The visit to the Dalí Museum usually lasts 2 hours and our guide will introduce you to the fantastic world of Dalí in a pleasant and fun way. At the end of the visit we will return to Girona for lunch at one of its superb restaurants. You can choose the restaurant. If you wish your guide will help you to choose the best place for lunch depending on your preferences.

After having lunch, our guide will pick you up at the restaurant to start the visit to the city (about 3 hours). He will accompany you on a tour at the Medieval and Jewish districts, you will go up to the wall to see the city from its towers. We will see the major sights from the outside: the Cathedral, the Rambla de la Llibertat, Arab baths, the Basilica of Sant Feliu, the bridges over the river Onyar, the shopping area and all the highlights.

You will enjoy with the explanations of our guide and you will learn the history of Girona since its foundation by the Romans until the present days, its legends and its hidden corners.
